Boeing
Boeing was experiencing a substantial backlog in analyzing obsolescence data from GIDEP (the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program), including documents detailing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) and Product Change Notices (PCN). Parts noted in these documents had to be cross-referenced with those actually in use in Boeing’s complex C-17 aircraft. Significant manual labor was required to determine the status of any one part out of more than one hundred thousand which needed to be tracked.
Using Corent’s SaaS Engine, we developed a sophisticated yet easy-to-use application that captures Boeing’s internal parts list and where-used information, issues automated queries to GIDEP, and automatically notifies the proper Boeing personnel of any parts advisory or quality issues. The application includes flexible scheduling for updates.
Micron Technology
OEM Portal: For Micron, Corent developed a Partnership Relationship Management System to manage key global partners, including Dell, Kodak, and Microsoft.
Engineering Portal: This multi-faceted solution provides Bug Tracking, Document Management, and a Knowledge Manager function.
Lexar Media Operations Team: Used by the Worldwide Operations team, the C-SAN (Customer Satisfaction Alert Notice) management system incorporates a process-driven approach to identify and track to closure any event that has or could have an impact on Lexar’s ability to meet its commitments to its clients.
MindForce Consulting
Corent built a virtual and mobile “headquarters” for MindForce’s distributed team, including Document Management, Discussion Threads, Task and Lead Management.
